When I got this, I didn’t realize it was specifically for use with Savepods. Luckily it also works well with the reusable generic K-cup pods I have, which were a small fraction of the price of the Savepods. Mine don’t require use of a paper filter, but it makes them easier to clean after use. This set does not come with a reusable pod, just the paper filters.These paper filters are very thin and delicate, but work well for holding the coffee grounds and allowing the brewed coffee to pass through. When done, you just toss (or compost) the grounds with the disposable paper filter. For my pods, I still need to wash the inside of the lid, but that’s much faster than also washing the mesh, which stays clean.I like being able to brew my own ground coffee in K-cups, and these make the process a little easier (only a little). It’s pretty expensive for what these are, at about 20 cents per tiny paper filter with no pod included.
I am not one who stands in line and spends untold amounts on coffee-shop coffee. I just like a nice, strong cup of black coffee to start my day. I have been using a single-brew coffee maker for some time now and have switched from the pre-made pods to a reusable pod. I have tried a variety of reusable pods but all leave a bit of sludge in the bottom of my cup. I have tried a variety of paper filters and find the Savepod paper filters to deliver a nice, clean tasting cup of coffee. From one 24-ounce can of ground coffee, I can make approximately 70 cups of my favorite coffee saving a ton of money over the course of the year.I like several things about these filters. They are easy to pull just one filter from the stack of 50. The small pleats allow the filter to fit in the pod better and filter better, too. The paper is very resilient when wet making removing the filter from the pod, mess-free.I tried these filters in the 100 pack, but when I reorder, I will be selecting the 300 pack. They even come in an unbleached option if that is your thing. If you are looking for a great way to have a good cup of coffee and save some money along the way, Savepod delivers 5-star performance.
I do not have a savepod coffee maker, but now I kinda wish I did. I do have a k-pod brewer and on occasion use my own pods. I popped one of the filters into my re-useable k-pod and filled it with ground coffee. I even tampered it down with my muddler so that I could make a stronger cup of coffee. The filter did not rip or tear in any way. It made a great cup of coffee that was clean tasting and also no grounds left behind. The picture of the glass with the coffee is to show that even after the second brew with the filter and pod there were no grounds left behind. Of course, some of that comes from the k-pod re-useable filter itself. But in the past, there have been times grounds have gotten through.I apologize for not being able to comment on the fit for the savepod. As you can see from the pictures below, they fit perfectly in the K-pod cartridge. It was very easy to get the filters apart without out destroying them which I am guessing is part of how the savepod system works. At 20 cents apiece I would have to think twice about purchasing. But when it actually comes down to it, it is still way cheaper and just as good quality as a coffee shop brew.
I mistakenly thought this pack came with the pod attachment tool, so I was a bit surprised to find it is only a box of 100 replacement filters. However, that turned out to be just fine because they work beautifully with the reusable pod setup I already own!The filters themselves are fantastic quality. They are strong, haven't torn on me, and do an excellent job keeping the fine coffee grounds contained. It has completely eliminated my morning coffee mess and made cleanup incredibly quick and easy. I would definitely purchase these again now that I know exactly what to expect!
These coffee filters fit in my reusable k-cups. They don't close easily with them though. I have to push down with my palm to get it to close. It does help with cleanup but I end up getting more grounds on the lid inside my reusable k-cups. I can't fill it up with the same amount as usual as I don't want to risk water flowing out. More grounds get pushed to the sides and to the lid with these coffee filters in. I use the 10 ounces of water option on my Keurig and haven't had any break. I do get less sediment but the coffee is weaker. I can visually see the bottom of my stainless steel tumbler vs pitch black coffee. So this is better for those who prefer a weaker coffee.
I love these pod filters. I like to be able to adjust my coffee strength and to use different brands. These make that possible. They are very sturdy compared to brands I've used in the past. They are biodegradable and they stay put in the pod and fit perfectly. Easy to dispose of with no mess at all. Rinse the pod out and ready to brew again. I have never had any grounds in my coffee. Top quality 👌 They make a fantastic tasting cup of joe. They are a bit pricey compared to others but for what they do and the quality i think it's reasonable. You also get 100 filters. I would definitely repurchase and highly recommend.

You'll need to keep buying replacements as you use them. How important that is will depend on why you're using the Savepod system in the first place. For me, the ability to choose my own coffee and simplify cleanup is more important than eliminating every disposable component.Another thing to consider is the extra preparation involved. Making your own pod isn't as fast as grabbing a completely prepackaged one. You need to add the filter, measure or add the coffee, and prepare the pod correctly. Once you get into a routine, the process is fairly straightforward, but someone whose only priority is maximum convenience may not want the additional steps.I think these filters make the most sense for someone who already owns and regularly uses the Savepod Pod Maker. In that situation, having a 100-count supply on hand means you can prepare pods as needed without treating the filters like something you need to ration.
